Hi all. I currently own an older (97) gas-powered 33' class A (460 Ford, w/Banks). I get from 7 to 9 mpg depending on speed, terrain, wind, etc... all while towing a Honda Civic. I'm considering buying an older (95) Monaco Dynasty (36', GVW 29500) with the 300HP 8.3L Cummins engine.
Any feedback on what fuel efficiency increase I can reasonably expect, or suggestions of what things I need to watch out for in buying such a 95 Dynasty with about 92K mi?

Our 34' Pace Arrow had a GMC 455 w/Banks and with towing we got about the same as your 7 to 9 mpg.

Our new Camelot has a Cummins 400 ISL which makes it less sensitive to wind and terrain. I think the biggest difference you'll notice is the price of gas versus the price of diesel, but I would not expect you to see any jump in mpg.
