Looks like your gravity fresh water fill. Is is near a "fill door" or wet bay?

Any help would be appreciated.

On our DSDP they use a hose like that for the fresh water overflow.

Do you have a washer/dryer at the rear of the coach. Could be a washer drain line.

It is plumbed for washer and dryer. Its on the passenger side of the coach. Doesnt the washer drain to the gray tank and is in black pvc?

It`s the water drain line for the air intake -- It connects to the underside of the air intake to drain away water that gets into the intake befor it gets into the filter -- Bill Willard

Looks like a support hose. Inside I suspect you will find water, electrical and or gas lines for what ever equipment is in the slide out.

That is a good question. I have never had an overheating problem. We were heading from the seattle area to bend or. Outside temp was 107 and I am pulling a large load up a few passes. The hottest it got was 224 and the check engine light came on. I down shifted and it cooled down to 218 and light went out. It seemed I fought it the whole way to bend.

Once I got to bend I have cleaned the radiator but it didn't seem dirty. coolant is full. I am suspecting my fan controller. If I unplug the controller the fan runs at full speed like its suppose to.Also with the controller plugged in and doing a cold start the fan runs at slow speed as its suppose to as well. My plan is to leave the controller unplugged for the trip home and see what the difference is. I know I can always hear the fan kick on and I don't remember hearing it on the trip to bend.

It got so much engine compartment temp that it started melting my trailer 7 way plug.

Any suggestions would be appreciated if I am missing something.

Thanks Bill, I figured you would know what it was. I assume I can replace it with some normal rubber hose?

zman-- Change the thermostat -- There`s a recall on it --The bail sometimes break -- Don`t go to Cummins, because they no longer sell the one you need -- They have some other high priced replacement -- The one you need is 4936026 -- You can get them on ebay for $15.00 plus shipping -- You will need to replace the coolant hose also -- It`s 2 1/4 inch & about 6" long -- The water inlet/thermostat housing bolts (2) torque at 222 inch lbs or about 18 ft pounds --
Any hose will work for the air intake drain -- There`s no pressure on it - Take the air intake hose going to the filter, off at the top & then you can see where the drain line attaches -- Bill Willard
