Most if not all Monaco Roadmaster, Foretravel and Country Coach tag chassis have tag lifts; I believe all Prevost and most busses also. Some, like the newer Freightliner and Spartan tag chassis dump the air bags on the tag. Either way essentially all the weight of the rear of the coach is on the drive axle. This is not a serious overweight problem as it is only to be done at very low speeds for short intervals.

FOr some tag chassis, at least the more recent Monacos, the tag lift is "automatic"; that is, in the "on" position of the tag lift switch, the tag only goes up when the trans is in reverse or first gear for backing up or going around corners.
