What's "Beeping" ?!?!?

I rolled about 280 miles onto my coach driving home yesterday following a weekend trip up north - and for the first time since I've owned it, I experienced an intermittent beeping sound coming from my dashboard. It started shortly after pulling out of the campground - and continued for roughly 50 miles. It wasn't a constant sound - just an occasional beep. Sometimes the beeps came in a "cluster" .... other times, a single beep followed by a long "beep-less" stretch.

The beep was accompanied by a flickering indicator light on the dash. However, the indicator light would flicker on and off so quickly that I could never clearly discern exactly which indicator it was. Being that I was driving, I simply couldn't focus much attention on flickering light - opting instead to pay attention to the road.

I checked the manual when I got home - and confirmed that there are basically three indicator lights present in the general area that was flickering - the "wait to start" light, the parking brake light (( P )), and the "water in fuel" light. The couple of times I happened to be looking at the dash when a beep and flicker occurred - it seemed like all three indicators flickered.

After 50 or so miles, the intermittent beeps stopped and the remaining 200+ miles were "beep-less".

Anybody got any ideas what was going on?

Could be the water in fuel light. Did you drain the filter and see if that fixed it?

It could also be a low fluid level in the jack system and if it was wet or raining it could be the low air alarm, they get covered with road scum and when wet short out the little s itch on top of the. Front tank.

Could be the park brake alarm, particularly if you see a flash in the area of the park brake lite on the dash. The switches in the valve assy are famous for failing. That and the jacks warning bell are the most persistant (and annoying). The jacks may not be all the way up or the reservoir is low on fluid.

Knight12 what's that Beeping

WE had the same thing " Beeping & Idiot Lights flashed on dash" happen with our 2012 Monaco Knight . Luckily we where on our why to Decatur and the new Monaco home ,We were scheduled to have the ride height checked they were happy to also look for what caused the Beeping. It turned out to be water in the step connections under the coach . To fix they dried all the plugs by taking them apart and used there air gun then put dialectic grease in all plugs & put them back together. NO problem since !! This might be the same fix for you . Did you drive in any rain before this happened . It didn't have to be that day .

Thanks for all the suggestions. The "water in fuel" responses sent me back to my Owner's Manual. I've had the coach for roughly 4 months now and have never checked that. Now that I've looked up the procedure for checking it - it's something I've added to my "monthly" checklist. I'm thinking that's the most likely culprit behind the "beeping" I heard on Sunday.

I'll keep Knight12's suggestion about dampness in the step connections in the back of my head in case checking/draining any water in the fuel filters doesn't remedy the problem - but being that it was bone dry during the drive up and during the drive back (although we did have a couple of light showers on Saturday morning while parked) - I'm not inclined to think that was at the root of the problem.

Thanks again all!
