New 2008 Holiday Rambler endeavor owner so I know nothing. Evidently my coach does not have a place to connect an air hose so I need to install one. Where the heck did they hide the air manifold?

BDpreece.. I am glad someone was able to help you get the Monaco thing under your name. I would have done it for you if you posted here whenI got home.
As far as airhose...I think you will find one... I will need to go out and look to see where it is..or I can ask SacsTC in the AM.
Welcome aboard...I am very excited that you have joined our ranks here!

It should be behind the generator cover. Pull the generator out and on the passenger side there should be two air quick disconnects. The female one is where you connect a hose the male one allows you to connect an external air source to release the brakes.

Yep...I knew where is was as soon as SacsTC told me how it worked.
Some great reading for you will be at another Monaco Owner's website. Rob Morgan has shared some great information with us. You can also see many photos from my album here. A few other members have some photo albums that are worth looking at...Diplomat Don and Drifter come to mind...just to name a couple.
Good Luck with you new Endeavor...you will have a few bugs to work out...and one of the first is to see if you have the BIRD in your unit, like Drifter did. You will need to add something like an Echo~Charger soon if you don't have the BIRD.
Happy Travels!

Hey Brian...another thing you need to know about the air compressor - many of us here actually carry an "after-market" air compressor. The built in unit will not do the job as well as you would hope.
You will find many other stories about which compressor we have bought besides the one link I just gave you.
Happy Reading!

Thanks gang, I located it . I had done a forum search but maybe was using the wrong criteria. I did find pictures of an air hose hanger but no mention of the air connection. I will probably be asking a lot of what seem like dumb questions for awhile as I familiarize myself with the new coach. It seems like this one has a lot more bells and whistles on it . As a (friend?) who owned what will remain a nameless coach (not a Monaco product) once said about my old coach "you have what is comparable to a Ford while I drive a Cadillac." It's nice to find some of the stuff I had to add before is standard equipment on my new one.

MM, thanks for the link. I actually own that very same compressor which I purchased along with 3 air nail guns when I was remodeling the house. I just don't want to use valuable storage space in the coach if I don't have to. I am taking the coach out to weigh it today as soon as we finish loading. Then I will have an idea how much air pressure I will need in the tires and whether the on board compressor will work in pinch.

Brian.....I found this http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...8&blockType=G8 compressor to be perfect for me. It runs on 110 volts which you'll always have without having to start the engine on the coach.
Using the coach air takes forever to fill a tire and often you have to get the engine air to cycle to get the pressure up high enough. The other problem is that the engine has to be running which means the coach has to air up to fill the tires. If you're camping, that limits you to when you arrive or when you're ready to leave.
This little compressor (about the size of a 5 gallon bucket) will put approximately one pound of air into the 22.5 tires every 13 seconds. It also has a built in gauge which pulsates as the compressor runs, as most do, but is fairly accurate. When done just check with a good gauge.
I do coil an airhose in my generator bay and keep a straight air nozzle handy. It's great for blowing off shoes or inflating toys. When the coach is aired down for camping, my tanks still have about 60 psi.

To support what Don says, I have a 20 gallon air compressor in the garage and the motorhome air compressor available to me but neither does as good a job filling the motorhome tires as the Sears compressor above. That little rascal indeed puts out 150 PSI and I would hate to part ways with it.
