Which One

We are new to the site and a going to purchase a 2001 Monaco Diplomat Le 38PBD or a 2003 Safari Cheetah 3742 next week and would like any information on the units. We are going to be fulltime and will start here in Ohio go to wine country in California then to the N/W then back to Ohio for a couple weeks then back out. Just wondering which Coach to go with. Can't afford the Beaver or Tiffin.

Thank You and
Be Careful Out There

Hi and welcome to the forum. Congrats on your upcoming purchase.

I'm partial to the Monaco but will let our experts with direct knowledge of both coaches help you out on that.

If you're looking for a place to stay in the wine country, consider: Napa Valley Expo. I'm from NorCal and have found this to be the most to our liking in the area. There's also a place at the Calistoga fairgrounds. We haven't stayed there but did check it out. The surrounding area is quieter and prettier but the sites are basically in a gravel parking lot.

Best of luck with your decision.

Rick

welcome, and congrats.
I'm also partial to monaco products, specifically those with the 8 (or 10) air bag roadmaster chassis

Dips are good coaches. my dw insisted on something new enough to "tell the difference", so we got a lowly knight...
