Understand Why They Install Three Hydraulic Slides & One Electric, Anyone Know Why?.

My Electric Slide has ALWAYS Extended & Retracts REALLY Slow. Today It Keeps Stopping while Holding Button In, Anyone Know Who Manufactures The Electric Slide?. I need to get in touch with them.

Does your slide out have cables? If it does it probably is as posted above.

Monaco chose to put three different types on my coach. The LR is hydraulic, the curbside back is cable, and the road side back is a single motor / clutch mounted on a rail under the bed. Not sure who makes the motor / clutch type. If you hear clicking when you reach full in or full out then it is type #3. Again, sorry don't know who makes it. Anyone?

If it is the cable driven slide, watch for fraying cables,& replace before it breaks -- I`ve had one break, & was quite a chore to replace -- Another time one was frayed, & I replaced it with very little trouble -- I did have a spare cable that I had purchased when the first one broke, & ordered another when I had to use my spare -- On a recent trip, I was parked next to a Monaco with the cable slide, & one of his was broke -- He was trying to find one, with no luck, & I wasn`t about to sell him mine -- With my luck, one of mine would break the next stop -- William Willard

My electric bedroom slide would stop on the way out but come in OK..I called the tech line and they knew right away what it was..there was a 20 amp thermal breaker in the slide box in the inverter cabinet instead of a spec 30 amp--apparently they just threw in 20's because that's all they had...put in a 30 amp I got at NAPA...all fine now.
