The double pain window next to the driver's seat has had some condensation in it for about a year but with all this rain we are getting it has been getting worse. I checked it today after getting 3 inches of rain and now there is about a inch and a half of water at the base between the panes. My guess is it's letting moisture in near the top of the window frame.

Anyone else ever have this happen? I have extended insurance coverage but I'm not sure they will cover it. When I talked to Kevin at DeMartini he thought the odds that the insurance company covering it were slim to none.

My extended insurance is with Choice Protection. Anyone had any experience with this company.

Other option I guess would be to add some Gold fish after the window is full of water.

Welcome any input.

They would need to be really skinny goldfish...Maybe you could put a little coral rock in there also so the fish feel at home.

If you are sure that the driver's window is properly sealed on the outside, the water may be coming from a horizontal rail inside the coach walls. After a lot of searching, I finally noticed that the aft slideout top cover, where it attaches to the roof, had a gap and repaired it. Water testing with the slide closed caused me to miss where the leak was coming from initially. With the slide closed, the gap was closed. Water traveled almost 30 feet or more to get to the front driver's window. Hope this helps.

Your seal has failed. Water between the two pieces of glass is not from a distant water leak into the M/H. The window on my front roadside slide has done the same thing. Condensation. Not enough eo float goldfish, just a cloud. I removed the inside framing, pulled out the window, laid it in the sun for a day to make sure it was dried out. I ran a full bead of caulk around the window and re installed. That was one year ago. no more condensation.

I would agree the seal has failed. I've checked inside the coach and there is no interior leak and at this point will probably be looking at replacing the window.

There have been many posts on this problem. When the seal between the 2 sheets of glass fails on the top edge as yours has, it can be fixed or replaced. The model and serial number is on the inside of the window frame and the window must be removed to find it. Most RV glass places are familiar with this problem; some recomend fixing, some replace with a single glass pane. The best is to repair or replace with a double pane for the insulation value. A regular auto glass place will not understand the double pane systems used in RV's. Hope this helps. DACOTAH
