Window Latches - Any Sources?

We managed to break one of the precious sliding window latches, today. I'm looking for a source. Tried NW RV Supply, PPL in Houston, Camping World and a number of other sources with no joy.

The folks at NW RV Supply said that Atwood divided itself among a number of other companies when they broke up, and at this point, they were not aware of anyone picking up the slack on selling or manufacturing replacements for these types of latches.

This could be a really big deal for those of us with 2000's Monaco motorhomes!!! Has anyone recently found a source for these latches?

It appears there are 1 ⅝" and 2" latches, and I believe mine to be the 2" variety. There are also two part numbers. One is DH407-CK and the other is DH287-CK that look identical and are both 2", I believe. Don't know what might be the difference between the two.

I did find one on Amazon, and they said they only had one left in stock. $26.00, for crying out loud, plus shipping!!!

Anyway, I am now looking for a couple of spares. Anyone have a line that is known to still be good for these pieces of essential hardware?

Good evening K7JV; Jacwjames has nailed it. Parkin Acc is where I purchased the window latches for my 01 Windsor. Good price. Called them up and had them in less than 1 week. They have a web site and I think it is Parkinacc.com. You could also Bing or Google it. I think they are located in Elkhart,IN. I got some extras and I am sure you are going to do the same. Good luck!

Thank you, Jim, Oilbuner and Boomer.

I just sent an email to Parkin-Acc and we'll see what they say. I appreciate your help a bunch!! I'll bet they'll be less expensive than the one I just ordered on Amazon!! That was highway robbery, but I thought I'd better jump on it since it was available and I wasn't sure I'd find another source.

I'll see what I hear back from "Parkin" and will post my results. Thanks again, and Merry Christmas to you all!!!

Ok, here's the update from what looked like the best option, Parkin-Acc:

"Morning James,

I am sorry but the Atwood latches have been discontinued by our supplier. I have no idea as to where you may be able to get some unless EBAY has some or you know someone who can 3D print them for you.

Sorry
Mike"

So it appears that we had all better be very careful about not breaking our latches!!! Unbelievable that something so prone to easy breakage, and so widely used by mid to high end coaches, would become unavailable!!

Yes, I did also order window weep hole covers through the same. Purchased on eBay. The have been in and out of stock for the black latches. Our local Winnebago is out of stock.

Good afternoon K7JV; Well that is not good news that Parkin does not have the window latches anymore. I know some dealers have some stock of certain items on the shelf and some have to order almost everything. I don't know if this is any help or not, but I have been to Beaver Coach Sales in Bend Oregon a number of times when there and I get certain small parts. I am surprised as to what they have in stock. Since Monaco acquired Beaver in 02, there are a lot of parts Beaver shares with Monaco. You could look them up on the web for their phone number and give them a call before they close today. Hope this helps you get something or find another source. Good luck!

Just looked at Northwest supply and the web page says out of stock [emoji36]'! Guess we are going to need to use a stick.
