Not exactly sure what you call this item, but it's the typical underdesigned, make it as cheap as you can item in the motorhome industry. Typically two per window (only the windows wherein the lower pane slides upward and is retained by two of these plastic retainers). Nice designe wherein when you go to put the window down, you press the retainers to the side and hope like h&ll that you had your thumbs under the window lip so it doesn't close uncontrollably!!

In any case, have had a few break on me so replacing them. I found a couple at a local RV parts supplier, but good grief...$10.95 each!! I am looking for a cheaper source if anyone knows of one. Marked on the plastic bag was the number 5020 but that could just be the local stores stock number.

Anyone with any good, less expensive sources? I need three more and will probably have a couple in my spares kit as well.

Thanks in advance

Diplomat Don made a couple dozens oak window hold open devices and passed them out at our 2010 Quartzsite Monaco gathering. It allows you to position the window at several different heights. Pretty ingenious. Maybe he will post a picture of such. With the wood block, you don't have to fight that release, you can have multiple opening settings, and you won't have to buy any more clips.
