Replaced mine - or I should say installed them, they were almost all gone, only a couple left. I believe - completely unscientifically that it did make a small difference in the wind noise, not a lot. Front door seal seems to be the biggest offender now.

I just ordered some from NW Supply. $1.29 each. 16 for the left and 16 for the right. Shipping is $3.25 for 16 of them, but for 32 (left and right hand) it goes to about $15.00. Not sure why. I just did 2 orders of 16 each.

Also just ordered from Duncon a week ago. They were amble to tell which ones I needed by the coach year and make. Cost was 75 cents each plus about $6 shipping. Took a week to arrive.

There not important at all. They can sometimes stop some whistling sound, but if you live in a wet damp climate, they will plug, and trap moss.
I've taken most of mine off.
