Windshield falling out again

after having a new windshield installed 2 1/2 years ago---it's falling out of the rubber gasket!!!! Progressive paid for the winshield to be installed after a mirror arm broke off and hit the windshield!!!!! Progressive ins. covers all work for life which is a great thing and now after finding out that the hole for the windshield is to big for the standard glass, they are going to have to build out the opening with fiberglass to fit the glass---didn't make sence to me but i can live with it----The insurance company has been intouch with Monaco who told them that they have to rebuild all the diplomats openings to make them fit!!!!!! I would think the glass companies would stop installing them if they have to do so much work because Monaco makes a poor opening for windshields!!!! That's about all---Just thought I'd let You everyone know.

I would like to see the insurance company get that in writing from Monaco. Don't believe they can get it.

Huh. I had the same issue (windshield opening) on my Rexhall that was causing the window to pop out. I had progressive at the time, but they wouldn't fix the window opening on their dime as it was a manufacturer defect, and they wouldn't pay for another window repair until the coach was fixed on my dime.

I have an 06 diplomat and just had the windshield replaced 3 weeks ago due to a large rock being kicked up by a truck. My windshield fits great. If yours stayed in for 2 and 1/2 years it must be something else? Just my 2 cents.
