Windshield Repair

Traveling through Quensel going about 15mph across a bridge in town a truck kicked up a rock and bang right in my main sight of view. I won't tell you what I said (over and over). I nursed her avoiding all oncoming traffic over to the shoulder (safely! I kept waiting for a big crack to erupt but it didn't) until we got to Prince George. We got in about 5pm that's when I find out our cells aren't working now (they did earlier). Morning comes and I have to break out the sat phone and call one place but they don't do mobile although the ad says they do but I asked if they knew anyone who did and they gave a me a recommendation. I called and the lady who answered was as nice as could be and told me they would have they guys out in about an hour and the cost would be $100.00 (CAN)......Deal! The gentleman came out and we were on our way in less than 30 minutes. E before and after pic really didn't come out too well so I won't post it but if you ever have a windshield issue and you find yourself in Prince George look these guys up.Click image for larger version

Good to hear it didn't spread, and you got it repaired. We have several great glass repair shops in Kamloops as well. I have had good luck with most as well. Great to have a mobile rig come to you.
I got a rock chip above the blue tint. AALL Glass fixed it for me ($30) They didn't put too much heat on it because he said it would take the blue tint away. They had room to get my MH (38 foot) into the shop too.
Happy Glamping.

Thanks!

It was nerve wracking with every bump I hit I kept waiting for it to just crack from one end to the other....and she did tell me it would be much cheaper to bring it in to the shop.....but after looking at the sat images it looked like they were all in some little strip center with not much turnaround room. But they did a heck of a job and very quickly.
