In discussing a Windsor for sale I was informed that 2002 was the last year Monaco used the semi-monocoque chassis. Also read this in another Windsor for sale ad. This brings up 2 questions:

1. What was the last year for the semi-monocoque chassis in the Windsor?

2. What chassis is used now and is it better than the semi-monocoque?

I apologize for the post from Seth. Please ignore the useless dribble...
You are correct as far as 2002 being the last year for the semi-monocoque chassis. I was able to verify it here
In 2003 they went to the Raised Rail chassis I did NOT check the difference in the weights/measures of the two years...but that could make a difference also.

I was able to find info on the RR8S chassis from 2006 here.

There is also a video here. I found it on the 2002 archive BUT I did not watch it...and it looks like a newer video...

I hope this helps you some. At least it will give you a little more info.

Good Luck

MM
