First of all- I am glad you have decided to join iRV2. I do feel it is the best RV forum on the web...and I would like to officially welcome you to iRV2!

It sounds like you have had a rougher time during your first year of ownerhip - more so than what I believe is normal.
I am sure you have contacted Monaco again. Please PM me with the person's name you are dealing with - along with the Service Advisor's name. I don't know that I can help - but I certainly don't mind sending you some other contact names that might help.

Hang in there Rookie.. I had my share of first year isssues on my Ambassador( 2006 )and I aint done yet. I am not talking small items but some nice ticket items. Monaco has stepped up to the plate for all, except the universal joint issue they are balking on, just got off the phone and its been 3 weeks and nothing yet. I have some other issues to be taken care of next week in Indiana service center. Some are mine and others are still under warranty.

should have mentioned its 19 months old now, but lots of the bigger items a/c's etc have two or more years warranty.

First, let me be the second to welcome you to the iRV2 Monaco forum. Glad you're here.

The wiper issue is a "known issue" to Monaco for 2006 and 2007 Dips, Endeavor's, and perhaps other coaches. In 2008, they came out with a much stronger wiper system that is significantly improved. It can be retro-fitted back to your coach. You might try to push Monaco to do that, since yours has been repaired and still won't work.

As for your other problems, I can sympathize with you. I, too, have a 2007 coach that I bought about a year ago, and it has gone through a lot of warranty repairs for several issues - some serious and some minor. After a year, everything is working fairly well at this point. I don't know if that's "typical", but I do know how frustrating it can be. I think it happens with every manufacturer, not just Monaco. These coaches are so complex today.

The only advice I can offer is to hang in there and work through the issues with Monaco. They do make good on your warranty issues and they are helpful in getting your issues resolved - perhaps more helpful than the dealer at times.

If you've owned your coach almost a year, you may want to make sure that any remaining issues you have are documented with Monaco and your dealer so that warranty repairs will be honored if they take longer than the first year to resolve.
