I was feeling a bit depressed when I got out of bed this morning. It was raining - as it always does here in Or-E-Gon.

It's my Sunday - and I decided to go out - rain or shine and wash the coach.

Temp was 47 degrees and I found a strange sense of fun using the wash mitt and hose! No more dirt streaks (even washed the roof!)

Of course it started pouring, but, here, you don't suspend outdoor activities just because of a bucket being poured over your head.

Coach is all clean - and I can feel spring just around the corner!!

Man! I had fun!!!

When the work was done, I settled down in the coach with a bucket of popcorn and a drink and watched a movie. Hmmm. The smell of the coach. I can't wait!

Gordon...can you believe that "party-pooper" Teofff would try to "rain on our parade"? LOL

I think I have gotten used to it .. but the two Pins haven't!

Let me know if you want to come down on your next "Saturday" and I will let you do the same to mine!

Glad you had a nice Sunday... and BTW... I am curious.. what was the drink you enjoyed with your popcorn... and what was the movie?

Gordon,

Just curious. Your sig says retired Coast Guard but since you have not chosen to winter further south I take it you or the wife must still be working. Or, you have some other reason for spending the winter in Oregon?

OK Gordon, it must have been YOU that caused it to rain even harder here yesterday afternoon !! You washed your rig, and then it rained and rained and rained. Vancouver, WA had a tornado touch down, and I was driving in the squawl that hit Olympia, YUK. Please do not go out and wax the rig, then we will have snow again.

BRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!! Washing your rig at 47 degrees? Man, that's sending chills down my spine just thinking of it.
I know exactly what you mean by the smell of a motorhome. It's kind of heady and brings back those great memories of the past season's trips. I've done that before in Alaska with the popcorn and the wine trick before the snow hit the ground and I had to hole up in the stickhouse. Of course that's in the past and the good ole' MH is the stickhouse now. Chin up brother, the wheels will soon be a turnin,!

Yeah. I'm in the midst of my second career as an LEO.

I was retired a week and the wife says "Don't you have someplace to go???"

That's why we only visit our daughter in Portland in the summer time.

Currently our rain is white and floats to the snow covered ground.
