Just a warning to those of you with 02-05 diplomats/endeavors and others that take the same 28 inch wipers: They have been discontinued.
I haven't been able to find Dyna refills anywhere. I have been able to get the Trico 75-280 refills or the napa 60-2810 equivalents - about $7.
Just found out from my local NAPA that these refills are no longer available. NAPA has none in any of their stores or warehouses, and shows them discontinued. Trico still lists the refill on their web site, but every vendor I've found that has carried them lists them as out of stock - backordered or discontinued.
The only alternative I've found so far is replacing the entire blade assembly at $30 each, and no replacement blade is available for which refills are currently being made (and my NAPA store suspects that once the current inventory of blades is exhausted, they'll go away too since they aren't making the rubber part in that size/shape any more).

If anybody knows of an alternative, I'm happy to take suggestions - I don't want to spend $60 every year just to change wiper blades...

My blades are 32 inch and the last and only set I had purchased, they were $50 each, Yikes!

I keep them covered with a tube of foam pipe insulation when parked for any length of time. Sometimes, I have removed them completely and stored them in a cabinet. I then take two tennis balls and cut openings to go onto the end of the arms to protect the windshield from getting scratched if the wipers got activated by mistake.

When the time comes to replace them, it will be with the 28 inch blades, same size as yours. I can purchased them at any Wal-Mart, etc. for about $10 each and bolt them on to the same arms. The missing 2 inches on each end will not be missed.

Why would you pay $30 for one when you can get 2 for $20?

I put a 26" blade on my 02 diplomat and they work just fine and a lot cheaper.

The 28" Goodyear blade at Costco is an entire assembly and will bolt right on. As "a k" said, about $9.00 out the door.

It's not only the blade that's a problem to get. If you have an arm go bad, which has happened in my case, you won't find a new arm anywhere either. In my case the serrated socket at the bottom of the arm that mates up with the shaft is stripped and it won't stay in place. I've checked everywhere and can't find a replacement.

We don't have Costco here. Do you have a part number for the Goodyear wiper assembly that will bolt on?

Thanks,

Bob

They are 'goodyear assurance 28 inch' wiper blades. No part number evident anywhere, but they aren't made by goodyear - they're by 'saver automotive products' and use the goodyear logo by license. upc is 7-51961-76528-5.
I just got home from another costco - my local one only stocks up to 24 inch, but they told me where the 28's were available. I'll install them tomorrow and test them out this weekend. (This is Oregon, it'll rain...)

Pipedream2... thanks but the blade is not the problem. I can get the blade at a number of places, including Camping World. My problem is the arm. I have an arm that is stripped out and won't stay in place. Also, I tried Diesel Equipment Co. and they no longer carry these blades and arms for Monaco Coaches. They don't have a clue on what we owners should do.

Bob, We have a 07 Imperial that had the same problem with slipping wiper arms. I removed the arm from the MH and put a strip of emory cloth between the shaft and the arm and tightened the arm back on. This has worked fine for 2 years. Sam
