Wiper Shaft

Help. On my Dynasty Queen IV the windshield wiper on the drivers side moves to the left and is stuck. It is not allowing the shaft to move it. It seem that maybe the gears are stripped. How does one fix this problem? Maybe I need to purchase a new arm. If so where? Thanks for any help from a Newbie.

Several years ago, on ours, the right wiper wouldn't come up from the parked position. It turned out to be nothing more than the nut loosening up on the shaft, at the arm. I contacted Monaco tech to get the torque spec for the bolt, but sadly, my record of what they told me is gone. But it did need to be tightened to the limit of what I was comfortable with. The cap on the base of the arm pops off to give you access to the bolt. I hope that is all that it is for you, as it will be an easy fix, if so. Good luck.

wiper blade

I tried tightening the nut. It worked for a while but then went back to same problem. I need to change the shaft I guess. I do not know how to do that. Anyone else have this problem?
