While rolling around on my back on a creeper I found a couple wires tie wrapped in the back on the drivers side of my coach. (1 White and 1 Black) I traced them to the wiring harness that goes to the trailer Lights. (They do NOT come out to the plug in the bumper for some reason I only have a 4 prong plug for a trailer/toad).. Anyway I would like to use the wires I found but I can not find them up front under the dash.

Anyone have any idea on where they would be ?

Thanks Lee......

Lee, they could be for docking lights. You need a signal generator to trace them. That is like the telephone and security guys use. You can get them at Lowe's and Home Depot, but I don't know the cost. Perhaps you can find a friend with one. Hook it to one wire and ground and trace away. Let us know where they go when you find them.

There are supposed to be spare wires from the dash area to the rear but I have never found them on my coach. Someone said they were tied up in a bundle on the passenger side near the rear wheel. I will have to do some more looking for those, but I could not find any up front.

I know what your talking about we had one at work. But I no longer work... On mine they are on the drivers side. They both have the bullet type connectors to me it looks like the factory hung them there. They are spliced into the main harness that houses the lights for the plug.

Now on the back of my MH the plug is only a 4 wire and I find that rather unusual. I would think that in 2001 it would have been at least a 6 pin if not a 7.

Rex I can do pictures if you would like them...

Lee,I agree yours should be a 6 pin plug. Guess the previous owner changed it out to suit his needs. Yes you can send a picture to me at rbdtanasi at yahoo do com. I will take a look at my coach and see if it also has similar wires and let you know.
