Weeeelllllll, the rumor is true. Yep, we did it, we traded up the La Palma for another motorhome. Some of our friends here at the rally in Pomona have seen our new baby and were anxious to help us move our stuff from the old one to the new one. She's a real beauty and it even has an upgraded TV and audio system. Can't wait to get her out on the open road.

I'm pretty sure that's the picture I took. I think, or did I shake the camera?

OK, I can't fool you guys easily.

We are the very happy owners of a new 2008 Monaco Cayman XL 35SBD, Vintage Masters interior. While at the Monaco Pre-Rally we traded the La Palma in for one that is a little bigger and has all the upgrades and features that we wanted to add on (or wish we had.) Everything from the air bag suspension, 2K inverter, 8K generator, 6 batteries, different audio system, thinner and bigger Aquos TV's (32" & 20"), 2 real DVD players (not in the radio), upgraded laminate tile floor (no carpet), able to tow 7000 pounds, air horns, sani-con system, pull-out tray in storage bay, bays hinged on the side, stainless appliances, sunshades on driver and co-pilot windows, more cabinets, ceiling fan, 2 real nightstands, water filtration, bigger and lower convection oven so I can reach it now, and the best improvement – the CCC is over 4600 pounds! More photos of our new baby HERE
We are taking physical possession of it in a couple hours. Right now I am riding in it while being driven to the state line. We are glad we were able to share our excitement with our iRV2 friends this last week.
