2007 MY A/V components?

We just picked our '07 30RKE on Saturday and it looks like the PO took most of what was in the A/V hole. All that's left, is the Winegard switch box and what I believe is an amplifier, which is behind a panel and mounted to the floor. They also took the relevant manuals from the binder.

Would any of you happen to have the model numbers and description of what used to be there? I would like to hook everything up, but I only have a huge mess of unmarked wires in there. Thanks so much, in advance!

P.S. What I think is an amplifier, was probably not taken, because I don't think they were able to unplug it. How do you get to that area? In the pic, it's behind the bottom black area.

I'd guess that's probably where the subwoofer is.

I hate to tell you, but it's probably a matter of trial and error figuring it out.

Contact Peterson Industries. They might be able to give you some advise.

Take a long co-axe cable, so you can attach to end of cable that you trying to figure out where it is coming from and with meter check end of other cables to find where each is coming from.

Another easy thing to do is take a AA battery and touch the wires to it. That will excite the speaker just enough to make a noise and tell which wire goes where.

Great ideas... What I thought was the amplifier, is the sub-woofer. So I have the sub, the video switch box and the wires... Easy enough...... I hope..

I've found the speaker wires to the home theater systems are color coded the same as an industry standard (I think!). Here's a link for the owner's manual on my Panasonic system on our 2012 Excel. Check out page 13 for color code of speakers wires and connectors! Mine is the 5 speaker 1 subwoofer set up. HTHs rockin'

I'm guessing that in 2007, they just used regular speaker wire. The stuff with the clear insulation. I have a bundle of them coming into where the AV components go.

I also learned that the Winegard A/V switch box does not work... Joy...

Mine has the clear speaker wire, but they spliced in the color coded wires about 6 inches from the connectors and the connectors are color coded too. Makes it real easy. rockin'
