Anybody have a 2008 with the fiberglass roof?? I have been upon this one and think they have made them thinner or changed the number of roof supports than my old 2005. I get a lot more flex in it when up washing and waxing it.At times it sounds like it's cracking.

Maybe you need to check your weight on the scales after the holidays and all before going up there again. Believe me when I say I really need to watch them. I wouldn't get on my roof because if I fell off I probably wouldn't stop bouncing till I was in the next county.
Just joking with ya, but it appears that Bryan answered your question.

We have a 2008 with the fiberglass roof. We have not noticed any flex and no significant noise when walking on it. Although this is our first Excel but our third 5th wheel.

Butch, You must know Rsteabag on a personal level and beyond that I am sure Rs takes his roof concerns very seriously as would I.

Paul,
Apparently no one else is going to ask you so I will, who appointed you as the forum police?

Empathy is often characterized as the ability to "put oneself into another's shoes", or to in some way experience the outlook or emotions of another.
Our Mission: "Efficiently support the thoughtful exchange of knowledge, values and experiences among RV enthusiasts"
The above should pretty well sum it up for you Virgil.
Good Day.

Thanks Chief, I'll be careful.
Max1,
I apologize if you feel I was out of line and insensitive, I was not trying to be but was just trying to have little fun seeing as Bryan had already answered the question before I responded. If Bryan had not responded previously I would not have made such a remark. I guess a person can't joke around a little with each other without somebody getting on you then this is not a forum that I want to be part of. So I will not be posting anymore because I wouldn't want to have you think I was an insensitive oaf.
Good Day and Goodbye.

Butch,
I don't care if you are oaf, galoot, imbecile, lout, moron, fool and ogre. I for one think we should have fun with this site. My sig says it all. I have learned much from you and would feel you are doing the forum a disservice by leaving. It truly would not support the thoughtful exchange of knowledge, values and experiences among RV enthusiasts if you are gone.
The day when we can't laugh at ourself or poke fun at one another is the day when the world has gone to he-- in a hand basket. Life is to short to be to serious.
Make you a deal, if you stay, you can make fun of rockin all the time.

I'll just stay off also and let these more sensitive contributors efficiently support the thoughtful exchange of knowledge, values and experiences among RV enthusiasts. He!!, if we all stay off, the complainers can empathize with themselves. I'm sick of being politically correct anyway. All of my working career, I had to be "sensitive and inclusive" of liberal whiners, in retirement, I think they can all just go take a flying leap...................

I for one will not be posting on the forum unless it is really something I need to know that the serious members will answer.
Sure don't want anyone to have fun!
