I got a close up look at a couple of new Excels at Chetopa RV Friday. Both were Classics, one was a 30TKE and 33RSE. Both were classic models. I was impressed with the fratures of the utility center on the 09 and and liked the convertable desk on the 33RSE.

I am 12 mo away from retirement and purchase of an Excel for FT use. Have been to the factory and still enjoy looking.

OK Chief....I felt that...and you know how sensitive I am! Wonder if any of my "rat scallon brothers" felt as hurt as I did? You know who you are!

Chief,
I have known for a couple years that Excel was going to be my rig of choice. Kind of takes the fun out of looking, but not too much longer now I guess .

D&J
We are now dealer shopping more than anything. There aren't any all that close to where we are now, most are quitw a ways south and south west of us. Family ties will probably bring us through S. central KS frequently when we retire so Chetopa may be a good fit. Appreciate any feedback on your experiences.

I'm back on topic again....I was over at the Excel website and see that they are offering $ 1K rebate until 9/30/08. That pertains to the subject doesn't it? You HDT guys are all alike! Trying to gang up on "little ol' me" Boo Hoo!

I consider myself an HDT wannabe, my next truck will be probably a Volvo 770 with auto shift or 10 speed. I just need to look at the time frame on when I can jump to the dark side.

I now have to emulate their behaviors and actions so I know how to conduct myself properly, something others on this forum miss out on.
