35 RSE entertainment system

For a 2006 35 RSE what would the original equipment DVD and surround system have been? I am looking for make and model numbers if you happen to know and a photo or two would be great also. I will be picking up the rig this coming weekend and I wanted to start shopping around to get one ordered or at least some equivalent to install. The speakers and sub-woofer are still in the rig along with an LCD tv.

Welcome John to the forum. Seems like PI changed the brand and models of entertainment systems about 3 times a year. Probably dependent on the best price. I promise I've not found any of them too good. Just my experience with owning 3 Excels which were 3 different brands. You may get the original papers/manuals with it and that should help. Otherwise you can "google" it up. rockin'

Our 2006 limited stuff was never any good, we just considered the speakers dust catchers.

We installed a Samsung HT-H4500 surround unit in our Alpenlite. When we purchased the 5'er used...the only thing left from the original equipment was the speakers, a lot of wires and the 25 inch tube TV.

We installed a 32in LED Samsung TV and the Samsung surround. Used the existing wires when possible and mounted the new speakers. Little work getting everything positioned where we wanted....but pleased with the sit up. Now we can use one remote for the TV/DVD, with Bluetooth can play music from the IPOD/IPAD through the system or the FM stereo that's built into the surround unit. With 500w on our unit, we can't play the volume more than 50% on most DVD's

Not sure you would want to install a unit with 2006 technology. With Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity so easy to connect to devices now even I can connect things and make them work. Most of the time anyway. LOL

About have the entertainment area finished, but can't imagine not having Bluetooth, WI-FI, charging outlets etc available today....even though I don't understand it completely yet. But it does come in handy.

Wonderful information especially with the blue tooth. Where I was going was to find a starting point and go from what was originally equipped. I have another rv, Fleetwood, that I rent and it has a proprietary connection to the surround sound speakers with Sony system, single common wire to all speakers, that I want to avoid. The rig I am picking up at the end of the week does have many of the owners manuals just not sure of the entertainment system manual. Any replacement, with no additional wiring, suggestions would be greatly appreciated to purchase. That is the reason for wanting to know of the possible original equipment items. So many rigs I have looked at where people take out equipment and you have no idea what can take it's place. If any of you have equipment that you like that can use what was originally equipped I have open ears. I am not looking to disturb people around me just something that works.

Thank you all so far for the information so far.
