This works good for me when rolling up my 50amp cord. I don't now if this is right or left handed, but all I know is that this works fine for me.. I crab the cord in the middle and stretch it out until it is in a U shape.

Looking at it as it is in the picture I start coiling it in the middle from the right side. As I am coiling both of my hands are turning the cord clockwise until I have the first half done.
I now pick up the coil and turn it upside down and finish coiling the cord. By flipping it over it doesn't tangle when I unwind it.

As you can see I have a nice 18 inch coil that packs easily for travel. This method also works good for garden and air hoses

Good idea, Book.

This one really belongs in "best practices". Don't know if our lovely moderator has that power or not! We'll see....

Rockin...
I am still studying this forum..and have not seen the "Best Practices" section before now..and I have not studied it yet...

I can do move it - but I lose the original post - it stays here. I can do it a couple of different ways...I can start a post and then paste it in - OR I can ask B2RT to start it and then edit the info in so he does not have to totally repost...
Do you also want the comments moved?

Tom is right, this is a great idea that will be lost in the volume if you don't move it to the Excel "Best Practices" 'sticky' thread.

Tom, I thought MM could do this moving thing too. Sorry I posted it in the wrong place. I'll work on it latter I am headed to town for breakfast. I'll "get er done" today before MM starts throwing snow balls at me. She is probably on her computor reading jokes as I work on this. Book2
