The big black A - B switches behind our tv's in the living room, and the bedroom, what exactly do they do? is it switching from the roof satellite dish to a outside dish hooked up to the sat in lines ?
i started putting up a out side dish today for the first time, never did get the thing working.

That is what I was told.

In our rig, the "B" switch is for our dish on the ground. "A" is for the one wired to the roof, which we don't have (yet!)

If I switch over to "A" on either box, my picture goes "poof" so I guess it is wired correctly.

In the livingroom, the winegard switchbox must be set to "SAT" for that TV. In the bedroom, I had to add a cable from the output of the AB switch to my satelite decoder box then wire from the satelite decoder to the TV

You are correct.

Think of it this way: The "A" switch is for "Attic" (the satellite TV dish on the roof) and the "B" switch is for "Basement" (the outside satellite connection you'd use for a portable dish).

Thanks guys for clearing me up on this matter....saw the A-B switch in the bedroom and thought it meant "after burner" and was afraid to push it!

It's the MD 20-20 that's doing it to you. You need to move up to a nice Cabernet Sauvignon, may I suggest "7 Deadly Zins".

Now who slippin'?? ....you forgot/missed from a previous post....I've graduated to "Oak Leaf" (any flavor will do ). Thank goodness for Wal-Mart. Like they used to say on the "The Jeffersons" "we're movin' on up"!!!

It startles me on how anyone could miss one of my post....just amazing!

Is that the $2.39 s&*# that comes in red or white with a synthetic cork? All they charge you for is the bottle. It's a low grade embalming fluid. I guess though, that is a step up from MD. I do recall your mentioning this, I had just forgotten it.

$2.97 a bottle....thanks to fuel price inflation! It does go down like embalming fluid...a nice finish!

Back in the day I drank my share of kinds of street wine. The first was Thunderbird and the seoond and my personal favorite was King Cotton Peach. Anybody else try those?

My second ex-wife used to say "so that's what happened to all your brain cells".
