Accessing tail lights

I have a 2014 31IKE and have no idea how to access the tail light bulbs, nor which types of bulbs are used (I'd like to have some spares on hand). I don't want to inadvertently damage the rubber gaskets if this isn't the proper access point.

The 46-page owners manual is surprisingly short and doesn't cover this obviously important area. My 2013 Ram 3500 owner's manual is 800+ pages!

Thanks in advance
David

The whole light assembly just pops out rubber included. If they are LED you unplug and replace the whole assembly.

I always pop the tail light out assembly from the rubber first. Then pull the rubber out. As discussed in another thread on this forum recently the Winslow line has incandescent bulbs and not LEDs. LED's have been in all exterior lights (except back up lights) since '05 models. rockin'

I assume the same tail lights are pretty much the same across the board. My 2006 30RSO has incandescent sealed units which are the same as many 18 wheeler tractors and trailers. You can buy replacements at any truck stop like Pilot or Loves. (Both LED and incandescent). I haven't checked out the smaller clearance light yet, don't know if incandescent or LED. I've replaced all interior bulbs with LED but in no big rush to do the outside - they're not drawing any power from the batteries.

I replaced all 4 tail lights on my 05 with led's from O'Reileys. So much clearer and brighter than the incans. They are easy to change.Haven't done the backup's yet.
