This a spin off of Tom SKP's thread on batteries, inverters, etc.

How's the standard converter (Progressive Dynamics??) with AGM batteries? Should I add an inverter (it's charging capability) to better maintain AGMs?

We had planned to order with a standard converter, an inverter, and either solar or generator capable. I've used AGMs (have three at home now for our TT) and would want to use them with the new trailer that came with a generator. I was thinking that an inverter would be the unit to charge and maintain the AGMs. Also, other than a quick walk through, I'm still unsure of what I've got. With a generator, would I get the charge wizard, too? Would the standard converter and charge wizard be enough to safely charge & maintain the AGMs? Thanks!!! David
