Alberquerque Balloon Fiesta maybe??? Four of the trucks (and drivers) from the HDT rally in Wichita are headed to the Balloon thing there.

Been there about 7 times over the years. But not in the rig. What an experience. Dawn patrol, grand ascension, special shapes, moonglow, and much, much more.
The camp host in the park we stayed in Ukiah, CA has a balloon and does ABQ every year and has the DVD pix to prove it. Boy was that fun to watch the DVD and relive that experiences once again.

I guess we are very fortunate, in that we live just to the north of the Balloon Fiesta. It is awesome to set on the porch in the morning and see hundreds of balloons, all shapes, floating overhead. Rain in the forecast for Saturday and Sunday, but beautiful weather for Monday through the remainder of the week. Enjoy your stay.

Gene and Betty, You are lucky to be north of the park. We are just south and today all the balloons went north due to a warm wind from the south. I am watching it on TV. It might be different tomorrow. Looks like it went well although the wind came up around 0845.
