What is the proper torque on the 16 in. aluminum wheels from Excel ? The book is a little vague on this.

90 ft lbs. I've found to check the torque several times on new units (or if the wheel has been removed) as they have a tendency to loosen with use. However, after about 5 or 6 retorques over about a 1000 miles they stay put. HTH. Tom

I found in the paper work that comes with the trailer for a 8 lug patten they say 140 to 160lbs.Dont use a impac wrench to tighten lugs use a torque wrench to get proper lbs.
On another previous thred this type of question would be a good sticky info for excel owners to have on our web site Iam sure we could all add good info to it for proper maintance of our homes.

The center hub (chrome) is stamped China on the inside but nothing on the rim itself that I can see.
