No we have camped about 5 or 6 weeks and is working fine. I also added ball valve in cold line feeding the mixing value. If I have problem I can shut valve to limit amount of cold being mixed.

That's encouraging. I got mine working by just working it open and closed a few times. I fixed it but then winterized shortly thereafter. The internet problem reports seemed to indicate a correlation between winterization and mixing valve problems. So we'llI see how it goes next Spring.

It seems to have worked. I say "seems" because pushing the valve in a little with the tip of my small pocket knife it seems to bounce back against the seal properly. However, if I push harder on the valve, it sticks. Took a chance and reinstalled it and tested it with water in my empty antifreeze jugs. It seems to have worked fine; no more leakage through the water heater drain plug and no other leaks. So I went ahead and winterized it with antifreeze.

As I always tell my wife when I fix something, "GENIUS" !!! Thanks for the troubleshooting, diagnosis and fix. That was a tricky one with all of the 3 valves to check out.
