I haven't gone with the Excel group but when they went of couple of years ago it was around $900.00 for the full 10 days. The cost is what they charge you if you went on your own for the same amount of time. These cost may have gone up since then. Look at the Ballon fest site to get the present info on cost.

The good thing about going with Excel is many side trips are planned for during the time when you are not at launch area.

Hi Brassringer we were there last October but we went with the Good Sam club and their price was $1700 and when we talk with Kay who runs it for PI their last one was around $900 so it shouldn't be much more. If you can go with them that's the best and either way will have a great time. If you want more info PM me.

Hi, we were at the last Excel Tour at the Balloon Fiesta. As Rstebag said it was just over $900 dollars for 10 days. In my opinion the sites we had were the best on the grounds since the balloons almost always passed right over our trailers on the way out and again on the way back and we were right by the area used for the "touch and go" and the "grab the ring" events.

The tour included much more than just watching the balloons. That activity is over usually by about 10 or 11 AM and the rest of the day is pretty much open for other activities. Some of the other activities included in the package were a tour of "Sky City" at the Acoma Pueblo, a trip to Madrid on the "Turquoise Trail", a trip to "Old Town" Albuquerque, Dinner at one of the Pueblo "Tax Offices" (also known as Casinos) and a ride on the gondola and lunch at the restaurant on Sandia Mountain.

Also included in all of Excel's tours is the camaraderie of meeting and joining other Excel owners in a common activity.
