Hi Everyone,

We purchased a 2003 33RSE and have not had a lot of time in it yet. We had RV Sales install the Winegard Movin' View Stationary Satellite dish.

LR TV works great. When I go into the bedroom, I cannot get the picture to show up on the TV. I ran the cable from the middle position on the A/B switch to the TV. I tried switching the switch but nothing.

We are only using one box as we usually watch the same program. As I understand it the A position is the roof mount and the B position is the outside portable mount.

One of the reasons I got the automatic dish was that Patty was learning to many words from me when I was trying to get the roof mount satellite dialed in. I would go outside and see where north was and come inside to manually line up the dish. Make sure the elevation was right, probably blow by the signal or hit the wrong one, all the while I was missing the race, or football or hockey game.

The pressure was too much and I would crawl into a corner like a blabbering idiot, nothing from you Tom.

We are going out this coming weekend and would like to get the bedroom TV on sat.

One possibility is.......in the LR TV cabinet, if you have a multiplex box, make sure all the "sat" buttons are depressed.

I don't use the satellite system so can't help with any advice. But there was discussion before on the forum, check page 6, 'bout half way down the page. Hope it helps.

Does your receiver in the living room handle two TVs, or do you have separate receivers for each area?

If you don't have a receiver in the bedroom, or the receiver in the living room doesn't handle two TVs, you're not going to get a picture on your bedroom TV (via satellite).

Assuming you have the correct receiver setup, then as Virgil said, make sure that the bedroom switch on the video distribution box in the main entertainment center is set to "SAT."

Virg,

No multuplex box, just the A/B switch

Workshop,

I've read everything on the satellite hookup, at least I think I did. Maybe something slipped through my steel trap of a brain. I always say I have two brain cells left and one is waving bye to the other.

The only thing I can think of (and I haven't tried it yet) is to run the feed from the box to the "B" side of the switch through a duplex connector and then plug the TV into the "B" side in the bedroom.

Sorry to jump in with such a simple suggestion, but be sure to have the TV set on channel 3. If you were watching TV on the batwing before trying the dish,it may be on the wrong channel to "see" the satellite box......

Well my idea didn't work. It is a 301 box from DISH. It does handle two TVs but would I run out of the 2nd output to the "B" side to back feed the signal into the bedroom.
