Chief,

Great info

I used to be a country music fan but that has changed so much can't really take it anymore.
All they do is sing louder so you can not hear their lack of talent.

As we have helped at both the North Platte and Lincoln festivals, we have met some great musicians and made lots of friends. I have never met any that have had a "I am better than you" attitude.
We even had one group come in our Excel and visited during a rain storm. They are now great friends of ours.

The Lincoln festival promoter has been contacted from 25 States wanting info and tickets. Can't be all that bad.

I will get off the soapbox now.

Jim

Just a quick note to the bluegrass fans.

Boy did you miss a good one!!!!!!!
The festival at Lincoln was great. All of the performers were outstanding, even the show case bands.
We also had the governor of the state of Nebraska there to present a Friend of Bluegrass award to Patrick Gottsch ( the founder of RFD TV. Mr. Gottsch then announced that the
Nebraska Bluegrass Festival would be on RFD TV next year.

Also Chief, I did not get any pictures that were very good.

Thought I would ask again if there are any Excel bluegrass fans out there since this is coming up soon: Home
