broken lagbolt.....

I have a 3 year old Classic. Quite by accident I discovered what appeared to be a loose lagbolt poking out of the side of the vertical channel that is ajacent to where the slide closes. You can't see it with the slides closed. When I went to tighten it...1/2 of it came off in my hand. It is about a 9/16...and it is a large thread..wooden lagbolt. It goes into the wood structure at the same level as the floor or close. The stapled on insulation makes it hard to go further. We tried to get it out with an easy out...but it is hard to reach....slide and trim get in the way. Anyone have an idea as to how critical that bolt is? It may have been broken for sometime...as I think the slide would have prevented it from falling out when driving. I don't want to blow a bunch of time and dollars at a RV shop...if there is enough redundant fasteners that I can live without this one. Thanks.
