Cable/satellite connections

I will be the first to admit that I hate dealing with this issue. It seems that every time we get a different RV, the connections and answers are different with their own form of complication. Don't get me started on what we had to do to connect satellite to our Voltage toyhauler!

So, just to recap, I have the following cable connections coming into the TV compartment labeled as follows:
Dish 1
Dish 2
Grndbase 1
Grndbase 2
Bed2

The following cables are connected to the winegard antenna panel that has the booster switch:
Antenna
TV booster wire
Cable
Bed1

On the outside wall, there are 3 cable hookups - it appears the far left is for cable and the far right is for satellite, and the middle is for ??

Because we haven't had a chance to contact anyone yet on a roof mount directv installation, we have our carry out antenna that works very well...it's the white cube that does the auto seek for the satellite connections.

I haven't had a chance to play with the bedroom setup yet ( even though there is a hookup, the previous owner never had a tv in the bedroom).

After quite a bit of effort, I figured out that if I hook up the satellite dish to the far right exterior connection and use grnd base 2 I get the main tv picking up the satellite reception.

So the additional questions are:
1. What is grndbase1?
2. Are dish 1 and dish 2 connections on the roof?
3. What about bed2?

Did anyone figure out how to get the sound system to play for just a normal tv broadcast?

Thanks everyone.....I appreciate all of your expertise!

This is based on my experience with my unit. Results may vary.

There are three systems here: 1) Antenna and cable, 2) Roof mounted satellite, 3) Ground based satellite.

1) The switch is used to switch between antenna and cable.

2) Dish 1 & 2 are the roof mounted satellite channel 1 & 2. One goes to living room and other to bedroom.

3) Grndbase 1 & 2 are the ground based satellite channel 1 & 2. One goes to living room and other to bedroom.

Bed1 is for antenna/cable feed to the bedroom.
Bed2 is for the satellite feed to the bedroom.

One note, my satellite is not SWM capable. It has three channels but Peterson Industries only wired two in the trailer. It take three channels to watch TV in both rooms and tape a different TV channel on the DVR. We can watch a show or tape a show in the living room, but not both at the same time. Unless of course we want to tape the same show we are watching.
