Hello,
Has anyone else attempted to compare these CO Alarms: the Kidde KN-COB-B (9CO5)and the Atwood by Kidde KN-COB-B (900-0143)? My Atwood version stopped working and I just bought the other, so I have both instruction books in front of me. So far, all I can see different is the stick-on label supplied with the units and some RV-specific language in the Atwood. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

My Atwood CO monitor malfunctioned recently. I called the 800 number printed on the back of the monitor. They asked for the date printed on the back & said they would ship me one free of charge. Got it about a week later. They are guaranteed for 5 years.

I read somewhere on an rv forum that the difference between the Kidde and the Atwood is that the Kidde has a warning that it is not intended/rated for rv use, while the Atwood is.

Something to do with the Kidde not desighend for higher 10,000+ elevations.

This is just what I recall. I'm thinking about getting one too.
