Hi, I was plagued with stoppage for some time. Clogs seem to occur where the drain meets the vent pipe - my guess is poor trimming of the pipe during construction. I finally got one of those hose extensions with a sprayer on the end and really flushed it out. You can take off the crapper window screed and bring the hose in that way - minimized risk of unwanted stuff on carpet. Once it flows with clean water, always start with a few gallons in the tank, as things seem to break up better - also only use RV paper, not regular TP. Following these steps mine from every trip to not one in two years. Good luck.

That Getting Hitched pic toilet bag looks like a boat keel. Maybe to keep the TV moving straight.

I poked around with a stick in there, after almost getting my arm stuck. Redw and Rusty and Chris pegged it. What looks like a web sitting above the pipe is actually glue running down the pipe. That ain’t it.

But Chris and DGARRI are also right that the yellow area in the middle of the photo is a ridge just below the pipe leading down from the floor mount. Either a reducer or poorly aligned female adapter of the next section. In either case, between the ridge and the 22.5 angle bend, the paper probably catches on this ridge and starts a-jammin’.

Should be replumbed, I reckon. Too bad the last two guys who removed the toilet didn’t say anything. Guess I be writing to Jack again for a warranty repair.

Thanks for all your help. And the picture too. Donations of or gift cards for extra toilet paper gladly accepted.

Bruce, why did you wait so long to bring this up? Plunging once a week is not a normal RV chore. I have never plunged my toilet and I have been living full-time in Rvs since 1999. I bet you are getting very frustrated . I know I would be! On looking at the bottom picture I am awed at all the excess glue that was left and not cleaned up. If someone working for me left that mess I’d two check them. When I am gluing pcv I always put the glue on the pipe on not in the coupling or bell end, that way when they are pushed together the excess glue comes out on the pipe, if the glue is put on in the coupling and they are pushed together the excess glue is inside of what I am building. It looks like from the first picture that you have a build up of excess dried glue in the throat of the sweep. Also it doesn’t look like the pipe was beveled, I always take a grinder and bevel the inside of a pipe before gluing. I doubt if you can do that now that it is together. I think if you remove the toilet you should be able to figure some way to get rid of the excess glue. I am very sorry that this happened to you. Book2

Bruce, I had the same problem in ourr 05 35' MKO. Turns out that there were tailings left in the tank from some drilling that was done. Any little thing like that will cause problems and are hard to find.
