counter top extension

I have debated awhile whether I should post this or not but finally decided to.
Please forgive me Bryan.

I called PI about getting a counter top extension for the Winslow. I wanted size, if it was available, and cost. They told me it was available as an option, the size was 15x15, and the cost was $182.00. I would have shipping cost on top of that and installation by my dealer.

I realize that when you pay xxxxxx for a trailer that the price of the extension should be of no concern but I was shocked at the price.
By the way, we do love the Winslow

sounds high to me but i guess if somebody will pay it, it's not too high. here's what i did:

when we got the recliners, the table didn't stick out far enough. $10 bucks for hinges and a drop-leaf support, i had the oak plywood already. i was going to take out the magazine rack so it would fold down all the way, but it's far enough like it is. camping world had one but it was about 45 bucks.

Red,

I added it to mine before it left SC. Lots cheaper. $150.00 if memory serves me right. Tim S. told that I would really like it and we do.

Thanks Bob and Still.

I will figure something out I guess. Can't see paying what I was told.

Red, how about a photo of what you are talking about, after spending what you did on your rig my Dealer would have let me have it at what ever the factory charged him. Are you going through your dealer or directly to the factory?

I just called the factory directly.....figured I could install it myself
My dealer has already done me a lot of favors on this rig and I hate to ask him for any more. He is a great guy to deal with and service is great.

Here is similar to what I am talking about.
