I tried to change my courtesy light in bathroom; unscrewed the plate but do not see a bulb to replace. The wires are all connected to the plate. Help?

Welcome to the website. The courtesy light uses a snap-on cover. Put the light assembly back in with the screws and use a very small screwdriver to remove the dome and you have access to the bulb. Push on the bulb and turn counterclockwise to unseat the bulb. Install new bulb and press/snap copver back on. May want to get a couple of extra bulbs as I have gone thru 3 replacements in 2 years. Guess the vibration of going down the road shortens their life.
You may want to add your rig info in your signature so we know what type of rig you have! HTH Tom

Thank you!

I did add a picture and my rig info, but it didn't work I guess. I am trying to figure it out. There is a message I did not reply to the e-mail sent to me, but I did. Perhaps that's the problem.

Fulltime 1 year now!!

2goldens, fixed you signature and added the "Excel Fulltimers Club" to you Custom Title. There is a link on the Excel site to the "Excel Fulltimers Club" on the State Clubs page.

Tom,
Your suggestions were great on replacing bulb. I screwed plate back on, then popped out the dome, but it is the same...the dome and wires came out, but I cannot get the dome separated. It has teeth all around it and I cannot pull the dome apart from wires. What am I doing wrong?

Don't know what's going wrong. Like I said, on mine I just popped off the cover or dome and that exposed the bulb. Push down on the spring tension and turn left and wala the bulb is out. Reverse to install new bulb. If I missing something....someone please clue us in!

I not sure but it sounds like your trying to actually remove the plastic dome itself, if memory serves me correctly you need to hold the dome and then twist the plug from the backside and it should release, replace bulb and just reverse what you did. Like I said if memory is correct haven't had to change one for a while.
