We have a Curtis DVD 6041 Home Theater System in our 2007 Excel 28TRW.

My question is in the use of the AM/FM tuner. When using the Auto Tuning feature, the system will collect up to 50 stations. But I find no way to cull the list down to the ones I want. In other words, I can add a station to the memory list, either manually or automatically, but I no of no way to delete a station or delete the whole list in memory.
Anyone have any tips?

[Pardon my typing... subject is a Theater System, not a 'Teater' System]

Thanks for the reply, Tom.
Yeah, I've looked around via Curtis and Google and haven't found the answer. Maybe most don't even use the Tuner or don't know they have it. Also it takes some playing with the string FM antenna to get many stations.
So in thast case what are you and others doing for radio. I sure like to get NPR but don't want to go the Sirius route.
Tom

I'm not sure if this is what you are referring to by deleting or adding stations that you want?

My 2001 unit has a pre-surround type receiver, a Pioneer. Couldn't download the Curtis manual without signing up for an account...so.....

On my unit, if the power is removed, unplugged, for more than 24 hr I will lose all stations in memory. To add stations I press the tune + button and it will go to the next station automatically if the signal is strong enough to be reconized.

To add a station to the memory/preset selection I have to press the memory buttom and the memory position I want....M1, M2 etc, and load that memory position. After that the stations I want are all loaded in memory/presets.

If at some point I wanted to add a different station to the memory, say M1...I tune to the station I want and instead of deleting the station in M1, I just load it into M1 and the prior station is removed and replaced by the receiver and I have a new station in M1.

As far as what others are doing for radio....on my prior unit, it had a AM/FM radio that would normally be used in autos mounted in the dinette area. Worked fine and was easy to use. Will be redoing the entertainment area this year to install a 26" flat screen as it is the only thing that will fit in the area without to many distructions. Haven't decided if I will install a surround sound and add that to the DVD/VCR recorder. But the Pioneer will go and might even install an auto type AM/FM, as it works on 12vdc, to the mix.

I can add stations much as you do, plus I have an Auto feature that will scan for the first 50 stations it finds. I also believe that the memory is volatile and disappears with no power as your does.

My question was how to delete a station already in memory. Sometime the scan get a station that is just a buzzing sound or maybe because I'm not a fan of Rap, I just want to get that station out of memory. Other than overwriting it, I can't figure out how to delete it from memory.
