I have to restring one of my shades, and need to know how the shade comes down. I can't see much under the valance. Does it and the curtian need removed first or does the shade clip up somehow with a secret detach button? I have the string and instructions, just need to get the darn thing down. Thanks in advance for the help.
Ace

Ace,

Window shades removal is different thoughout the coach. First remove the side curtains by simply removing at the velcro. On many you just slip your hands between the shade and the window and feel for the spring clips One on each side. Once found, push both clips TOWARD the window to release the shade frame. The frame kinda rolls out of it's mounting. Pretty hard for one person to do the first time, but once you do it and get it down, then you see how it works.

On some shades (on my rig, it the smaller windows) you have to remove the valance to gain access to the spring clips. HTHs rockin'
