Sorry to bug you about this again, but I sent a couple of the blinds back to Excel and they returned them. Now, how do I get them back up? Do you have to remove the valance, and if so, how? I can't get my hand up there behind the blind to try and "snap" it in. I do see a screw on the left hand side..to remove valance?

Taking the blinds down and putting them back is the hardest part of the repair. The blind fits into the clip on the edge closest to you first, and then snaps into the other side of the clip on the edge closest to the window. If you can't get your hand up in there you may have to get someone to help you. The valances are attached at the sides or the top and after the blind is attached it would be next to impossible to put the valance back up. This exercise will really try your patience. Good Luck.

You are right about patience. I finally got the one blind up (after 1 1/2 hr)! The second one is broken again. After FINALLY getting it back up in the window and re-tying the knot on the one side, I lost the knot on the right side and whoops....string went through the blind again. So no it is up and hanging lopsided! This took a whole afternoon and it still isn't right. I have another in the bedroom looking the same. Why don't they just get rid of these things and go back to venetian blinds???????
