My Dirt Devil is in my utility center on our new rig. It easy to access the cover and replace the bag. However, after changing the bag and installing the cover the housing would fall in behind the utility center making it impossible to reinstall the cover (the cover is larger than the hole in the utility center). After investigating a bit, it appears that PI installed ONE small lightweight tin-type corner bracket which is quite flimsy. See pix. I corrected this by installing FOUR metal corner brackets which is clearly overkill. But it would be nice to see at least 2 installed on assembly. It's a bit difficult to access that area in behind the Dirt Devil, so I wasn't taking any chances!!! Now the vacuum housing is snug as a bug in a rug! Hope this helps someone else. rockin'

AH, nothing like quality Scotch tape, baling wire and chewing gum for a truly well engineered and detailed manufacturing job...

Sometimes you have to wonder if these manufacturers have even HEARD of quality control...

Might wanna check to see what's holding the toilet down...

Our Dirt Devil is the hand held kind since it wasn't offered even as an afterthought on the RT line ... With a Beagle pup it sure would have been a first class asset to have!!!
