Door blowing in the wind.
When I open my entry door from the inside on a windy day I often loose hold of the door and it slams into the RV. This can't be good for the door &/or the RV. My guess is I'm not the only one who has had this happen.
Does anybody have a fix for this problem.
Here is hoping the answer my freinds is blowing in the wind.

Your not the first one that has done that. Just make sure you have a GOOD & TIGHT GRIP on the door when the wind blows.

You ought to be down here at South Padre Island where the wind is blowing 38 MPH out of the North. You have to hold that door with both hands. My wife was pulled out of the RV trying to hold the door from slamming the side and she was snatched out of the RV in a flash and fell on her knees and elbows onto a concrete slab. Let me know if you find a solution to this problem.

I have a friend in Mission and he's looking at a freeze tonight. What's it like in Padre?

What does ice have to do with a blowing door?????
You can add a larger grab handle, and HOLD ON.....

Maybe if you change the position of your trailer in the camp ground. I have a slide out that I use to block the wind for that reason. I usually try to get a spot so my door will face east. I know in these parks when they don't stagger the lots, a real good strong wind tunnel can be happening. I know from experience that it takes a lot of strength to hang on to the door and I hope no one sprained their wrist from it.

How many parks must a man park in
Before he's called an RVing man?
Yes, 'n' how many doors must the wind let sail
Before she sprains his careless hand?
Yes, 'n' how many times must the slide toppers fly
Before they're forever banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
Don't let your door be blowin' in the wind.
