Excel Dealer Locations

The Excel Dealer Map which is linked at the top of the Excel Owners Forum main page has been updated to show the new dealer in Cleburne, TX.

Also, the GoogleEarth xml file showing the best known location of all of the known Excel Dealers has been updated and can be found at my web site. If anyone has a better location for any of the dealers please let me know by private message. (GPS Coordinates please.)

Rather then downloading the file directly from my web site, Google has some instructions
at this location
for adding the data directly to Google Earth. The address of the data is "http://curtis.brown.mystarband.net/files/Excel_Dealers.kml". If you will paste that (without the quotes) into the dialog google earth should create a new folder with the dealers in it.

I have updated the phone number for the Dealer in Fort Collins, CO on both the Excel Dealer Map. I have also updated my GoogleEarth file which can be found at the link in the first message in this thread.

I couldn't get the link to work. Takes me to a page with just gobbldy-gook on it. Thanks for working on this. I think I know what your doing as I use Google Earth and like it!

Hrm... Strange. When I click on the link I download a file called Excel_Dealers.kml. The gobbidy-gook you see is the contents of the Google Earth kml file. It must be a difference in our browsers. Maybe you need to right-click on the link and select save to disk. Make sure the name ends with .kml. Later I will try with my windows computer and see what happens for me.

I have edited the first message in this string to include a link to the Google Earth site that explains how to use network links. I think their method would be easier than trying to download the file every time I change it.
