Miss Jo thinks she wants us to take out our dining room table and have some sort of combination desk/dining unit installed. We could use the hanging file drawer space. Right now on the floor under the dining table, we have the icemaker and a printer.

We can easily give up two of the seating spaces at the table as we so very rarely entertain inside. Actually, I can't remember eating at the table recently.

Anybody done that in an Excel and do you have pictures? I've got the top figured out as sort of a T shape with the top of the T next to the windows but the drawer configuration vs knee space is baffling me.

Virgil,

That is what a some of the new Excel's are coming out with. For the most (95%) part I like it. It is a bigger table to set at when both leaves are in, even with one leave in it is about the same size as the previous table. The only down fall that I have is when I only put in one leave the table leg falls where the floor duct is. I'm going to find an 1/8" thick piece of hickory to place on top of the duct and that will keep from bending the vanes of the duct.

Let me take some pictures this weekend and I'll add them to my webshots next week.

We had Bryan and company design just such a table for us...believe that they're going to include it as an option on some of their models. Unfortunately, we haven't made it to Smith Center to have the work done.

The option is shown in their 2010 brochure. I'd post the pictures here that Bryan sent to us, but they're on my computer, not anywhere on the Internet, so can't do so.

The table/desk option is now standard for the limited and maybe for the others, a nice idea.Got to see it on the Winslow in our dealer's lot.

I've finally found out how to upload pictures from my computer; unfortunately, the PDF file that Brian sent me with the pictures exceeds the 1,000KB file size allowed for uploading PDF files.

Linda may not get this until morning....my experience with her is she not a "night owl" on the internet....she must do her partying in the evenings!

Rick, my buddy, emailed pix of his new desk table from PI installed in his '08 33ft TKE. VERY VERY Nice!!! Thanks Rick!

Now we ALL be envious!

Wonder if that table is big enough to seat 4? Rick?

Thanks Rockin, It is very nice! I’d like to see one in person. Did Rick say if it came with two chairs or four? That would determine how many can folks can break the crust at that table......

Mine came with two chairs. I ordered two more chairs that fold up and will fit under the bed. Seats four easy. So far we really like ours in the Wild Cargo. I usually put both leaves in and am able to set my laptop on the wall end of the table and have plenty of room on the table to eat our meals with just DW and me.

Sorry I forgot to up load the pictures to my webshots but can email to anyone wanting more info.
