We met with the local school board to receive permission to use the facility for our 2009 Excel Family Reunion. They voted and unanimously approved our request.

Without the school, the event would not be possible.

The dates of the 2009 reunion will be May 27 through May 31, 2009. Please mark your calenders and let's have the biggest reunion in Peterson Industries history!!!

Thanks, Bryan

Bryan,

I have one request; that The Excel Club of Colorado does not camp in Lake Sullivan next year. A little higher ground would be nice, although the fishing was good.

We also need a place for those Excel Forum members that would like to be located together.
Thanks,

Larry,

I asked Vaughn at the Kansas Spring Campout that he make sure that those of us that stayed in Lake Excel and had Excel River front property at the 2006 Reunion not have live that way again. Vaughn stated he would take care of that.

I believe that includes KS, NM, IOWA, and CO. If there is any other states, please chime in.

Yes the fishing was great except for the gator I caught and the Iowa game warden that check me out. Hadn't bought a fishing license since 1982. I got a lifetime license then.

John.... I'm quite a ways off from making parking decisions. I'll keep you posted and take all requests into consideration.

Chief,
As a new owner, I am not aware of the process for making reservations etc. Will that be explained in the future?

The 'President' of our "Excel Owner's Forum", RockinTom Clapham, has informed me that reservations normally open 6 months in advance. I'm sure that it will be posted in the newsletter and here on the forum.

PI will also post on the website. There is also a small campground there in Smith Center for early birds.

Diesal Guy,

Once it is posted on the web site you can either register per instructions on the web site link or call PI directly.

Hope to see you there.

Larry,
We're looking forward to being one of the minorities at the reunion. You 'Volvo' guys (Virg included!!) think your exhaust doesn't stink! . Wait until my 'Bulldog' gets hold of your rear-ends! I'll make sure he's hungry--he particularly enjoys red Volvos.
