Excel Field Ambassador Representatives

I noticed that New Horizons ( you know....those guys) have a list of NH owners they display in newsletters etc who are willing to show off their homes on wheels to interested folks. It gives their name, type of home/unit, and where they will be in the upcoming months and for how long.

Bryan, do we have something like this? I think it's an excellent idea if only to let folks see models they can't find in a nearby dealership.

How about starting a "sticky" thread of ambassadors who would be proud to show off their units? Perhaps multiple threads where the title of the thread shows the model? Then those who are interested in seeing that model wouldn't have to sort through a long list of postings (and "off topic" BS) to find the particular model they are interested in?

Before starting..... let's get suggestions on how to best set it up here. GREAT IDEA!

Had to think about this for a while. IMHO, I think that there should be one sticky for the "ambassadors" and then one for the people interested in seeing a particular model. Communications to individuals would be by PM.

The ambassadors could post in the thread information regarding their particular model, any changes they've made and tow vehicle. This would allow the interested party to know who has what and not have to wade through tons of OT comments. Contact about location and anything else would be private through PM's.

For the interested party thread, they could post what they are interested in and the ambassador(s) could respond via PM. This would keep the OT comments out of the thread and make it a more welcome personnel encounter. The ambassador(s) could notify the person of their location, contact information, and take it from there.

Hope this helps. I think this is a great idea!
