Today as we were traveling north on SR-41 in New Mexico, about 5 miles or less of it's junction with US-285 south of I-40, we passed an Excel heading south. It *might* have been part of the group who were from a fair/carnival as there were several such vehicles traveling in a group at about the same time we spotted the Excel.

Anyone here?

We're currently at Coyote Creek State Park north of Las Vegas, NM, having arrived yesterday afternoon. There are 2 other Excels here. We spoke briefly with one of the women, but were busy filling our fresh water tank and didn't get more information about who they are. Will try to find out who the other 2 rigs belong to while we're here.

We saw 2 Excels in Boise City, Ok. Saw the first yesterday,June 27, about 5PM. It was an older one with the logo in blue script. Saw the second one today about 1PM. It was a newer one. Just got a glance at it. By the way, you don't want to know why I was in Boise City,OK for 2 days.

I was waiting for a fan clutch for a 2007 Ford F350(5000 miles on it). The closest one was in Oklahoma City, 375 miles away. They do have an RV park there, kinda. But, on the good side, the folks at H&H Ford did their very best to get us fixed. We pulled in at 3PM on June 27 and left at 1PM on June 28.

Just spotted an Excel in the Sutherlin, Oregon Highway Haven CG this AM when I was pulling out to work. Couldn't see the model but it was being pulled by a Freightliner or International MDT. Didn't want to distrub the whole CG getting a closer look.

We saw 2 Excel Knoble Esquire Fifth Wheels parked side by side at the Walnut River area @ Eldorado Lake State Park. (They left before I could get a pic. I was waiting for the rain to stop!

Appeared to be an Excel Limited, pulled by a burgundy crew-cab heading west on Hwy. 16 out of Custer today (Tuesday) at 1015 hrs.

Update, 0740, 4th July, having my morning cup of coffee and this rig goes past us leaving Big Pine Campground. We had not been around the the campground after coming home yesterday PM and this rig must have been in the back overnight. Small world -- wish we could have met.

Jim (redcow) were you meandering around the Custer area?

Saw one at Red Roof Antiques parking lot in North Platte, NE 7/14/07.
Once again I did not get a good description or have time to stop and visit.

ChiefJohn,

No, that was not me in the Custer area.
We were there last year and we really enjoy that area.

We have not been able to use our Excel this year except for the Spring camp out at Hastings,NE and also at the Bluegrass festival in North Platte. Way too many things going on!!!!
Maybe we can start using it more before the summer ends.

We are going to Colby,KS this weekend for the bluegrass festival there.

Jim

Two sightings on 20 Jul -- first on I-80 East toward Lincoln, NE with black F-350 DW TV. I was doing 65 mph and they almost blew us off the road!

Second sighting in the campground we're roosting in for a couple of days. Camp-A-Way Campground Lincoln, NE -- haven't had a chance to meet and greet.
